Microsoft Windows 11

I have 2 laptops that have given me grief and want to see if I can just remove all the components (memory,  cpu, etc) from my hinge problem 17" to the 15" that somehow lost its ability to load Microsoft up on start up.

The hinge problem child is the

17hy1055ct going to the 15 ay011nr.

I'm certainly not a computer geek and can't even identify the guts of these without Google to show me what's what but I am competent being a specialty electrician my entire career who's got common sense enough to unplug and move to re-plug the components. That being said,  any input with the concept is greatly appreciated.

No, that is not easy. To remove CPU you have to bring the whole system board and you know 15" and 17" are two different PHYSICAL sizes. Only 2 components you may be able to move (given they are compatible) are RAM and STORAGE.

Regards.
