Hello. I've bought 2x8gb 3600mhz ram for my pc. In task manager, it shows the ram running at 2133mt/s. I went to bios to try and find memory profile, but I can't seem to locate it. I was hoping to get the ram to run at 3200mhz based on FAQ upgrade questions and answers that I saw. Please help. Thanks.

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
You probably purchased Corsair or G.SKILL RAM, which gets stuck at its SPD (default) RAM speed, and there is nothing you can do about it, as your PC doesn't provide XMP (overclocking) access.
I would strongly recommend returning this RAM to sender to get your money back, and instead purchase this quality/affordable 2x8GB DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, UDIMM, 288-pin Timetec RAM kit via Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Timetec-3200MHz-PC4-25600-Gaming-Regular/dp/B07P6F97B1/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2CR161..., which will run at the maximum 3200 MHz RAM speed allowed on your PC.
Better still, consider this 2x16GB Timetec dual-rank (2Rx8) RAM kit: https://www.amazon.com/Timetec-3200MHz-PC4-25600-Unbuffered-Computer/dp/B07FWLWXJK/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3....
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
