OMEN 25L Desktop GT12-0000a (ID 9NA83AV)

So i bought my Computer about a year back and after like 4 months of me owning it the rgb on my ram stopped working. It is stuck on the rainbow setting and it makes my whole setup look really bad. When i go into the omen center is says that i need to upgrade my bios but i dont need to do that. The ram is Hyperx fury ddr4. Does anybody have a fix?

If you are within a year of purchase and you registered your desktop PC, the factory warranty will cover replacement of the RAM, if it is indeed faulty.

Have you tried using the HP PC hardware Diagnostics UEFI utility to test the memory?

If the module is faulty you will get an error message.

Generally, if you are able to do everything else, it is probably not be the memory and more likely to be a firmware issue.

If the Omen Gaming Hub or Command center says you need to update the  BIOS, it may be worth considering

The Omen Gaming Hub or Command Center is what controls the lighting by use of firmware.

Have you tried reseating the memory module(s)?
