HP Recommended

I want to upgrade from 8gb ram to 16gb. I have an HP elite desk 800 g1 with an HP 1998 motherboard. What brand/ type of ram should I choose and why?

I take it that you have an 800 G1 SFF?

 

If so and your PC has a single 8 GB memory chip, I recommend this brand of memory:

 

Crucial 8GB DDR3L-1600 UDIMM | CT102464BD160B | Crucial.com

 

Why? 

 

Because of what they state on the webpage:  The selected configuration is compatible with your HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Small Form Factor.
