I need to upgrade Ram on this pc, 12gb is installed 8gb and 4gb in the two slots available. I want to upgrade the 4gb slot to 8gb.

This does not seem to be easy as it is very specific ram could i find out what the exact ram I would need to upgrade ?

Your HP Desktop M01-F3029 PC (7P826AA) as fitted with an Erica9 motherboard (SSID: 8AB6) can be fitted with up to 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 288-pin RAM sticks. Crucial even claims up to 2 x 32GB, but few would need that much RAM.

 

You possibly got this 8GB + 4GB RAM installed in your desktop:

One solution is to replace the 4GB RAM stick with this quality 8GB RAM stick: Crucial RAM 8GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22 (or 2933MHz or 2666MHz) Desktop Memory CT8G4DFRA32A at Amazon.com.
