Hp envy Laptop 16-h1xxx

Im looking to upgrade the ram on my laptop. I don't know which one is compatible. Is 32 GB of ram the max? Which one is the best?

You could upgrade your HP Envy Laptop 16-H1xxx up to 2 x 32GB of DDR5 PC5-38400, 4800 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 262-pins RAM sticks if you wanted to: HP - Compaq ENVY 16-h1000 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com.

@William184,

Btw, if you want a very specific RAM kit upgrade recommendation, I can do that too.

As I mentioned in my previous post, you could max out your RAM with 2 x 32GB, but you are unlikely to need that much RAM.  And it would be rather pricey.  One of the best quality/performance RAM kit options combined with affordability, would be this Crucial 2 x 16GB dual rank (2Rx8) RAM kit: Crucial RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR5 4800MT/s CL40 Laptop Memory CT2K16G48C40S5 at Amazon.com.

I should know, because I recently purchased this RAM kit myself to upgrade my son's FX517ZR gaming laptop which has the same RAM specs as your laptop:
