You're very welcome.

I can only guess based on the information you posted that your PC may support up to 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.

But you really need to have a look at the service manual for the model series because some may only support 2 x 4 GB of memory with the Intel 2nd generation core processors.

You posted the product ID for Windows, not your PC.

What is the product number of your PC?

Run the Windows system information app and the product number will be found on the System SKU line.

Thanks for reply. I don't have info at home.  The processor is Intel(R Core(TM) i3-2120T CPU @2.60GHz.  Not sure this info will be helpful.  It's a 64-bit OS x64-based processor

Thanks for assistance. My HP is a desktop unit. Would the ram be DDR3  1333 type?

You're very welcome.

Your PC's processor can only run the memory at 1333 MHz, but the PC may call for DDR3L-1600 memory if your PC's processor is in a model that also supports the Intel 3rd generation core processors.

But in a pinch, DDR3-1333 MHz memory would be OK.

Thanks Paul. Have a blessed day ahead

You have a blessed day too.

If you let me know the product number of your desktop PC I can give you more accurate information.

My HP desktop (8200 Elite CMT) has an intel 2nd generation core processor, has 4 memory slots and can support 4 x 8 GB of DDR3-1333 MHz memory.
