HI

We have 3 options

WD Blue SN570 2TB PCIe Gen3 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD

Crucial P3 2TB M.2 (2280) PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD which

WD & Samsung is a bit more expensive the Crucial. So which one should I choose?

And if I choose Crucial P5 Plus 2TB PCIe M.2 2280SS SSD, will it affect my computer in the long term?

THanks

The P5 Plus is a lot more expensive than the P3, I guess because of the faster speeds.

Unless you plan on migrating the drive to a newer PC in the future that would let a PCIe Gen 4 SSD run at its full speed, I would go with the P3, since it is less expensive than the others and offers the same storage capacity.

So the other P3 (WD, Samsung, Crucial P3) drives, are they working the same performance?

HP Recommended

Yes, those 3 are pretty much the same max read/write speed of 3,500 MBPS.

The Samsung 980...I don't believe that comes in a 2 TB size.

Only the 980 Pro does, and that is PCIe Gen 4.

Thanks very much. I would take the Crucial P5 and the consair ram.

One more question, is there anyway I can swap the USB A 2.0 port to USB C?

HP Recommended

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, that I would not know.

It is highly unlikely though.

That is because the port is probably directly connected to the motherboard.
