PSU and SSD Upgrade

I hope I'm allowed to hijack this post. I have a hard time finding the right PSU for my Elitedesk 800 G3. It's very confusing with all the models and I would like to get at least a somewhat "new one" but I also don't wanna cheap out at the wrong end and risk a fried power supply at one point. 

I mean there are (german ebay) 901760-004 or 901762-004 etc. but also If I search on ebay I get a huge amount of G2 or G1 PSU's. 

Alot of options also don't ship to germany but maybe another PSU from a  other or newer HP Product would fit aswell?

The PSU wattage itself isn't too important for me, everything works, really.

Here are the compatible HP part numbers for the PSU units for your Elitedesk 800 G3.

You should be able to find them in Deutschland or one of your neighboring EU countries.

There are no adaptors or anything to use a regular ATX PSU if I wanna mod the case right?

I know the user "NonSequitur777" did a mod a few years ago and was unable to find one but unsure if that maybe has changed!

Since I was sort of summoned (😈) in this discussion thread, here is my pfennig-worth feedback:

Yes, Upgrading the HP EliteDesk 800 G3/G4/G5 SFF was one of my most enjoyable (Am angenehmsten, Ja?) HP legacy upgrade projects.

Anyway, in addition to my friend @erico's power supply option, there are a couple more G3/G4/G5 SFF upgrade power supply options you ought to be aware of:

250-watt power supply (p/n: L08417-004)
400-watt power supply (p/n: 942332-001)
500-watt power supply (p/n: L77487-003)

And no, there are (still) no ATX power supply adapters available for the HP EliteDesk 800 G3/4/5 platforms.
