I'm looking at updating the processor in my computer to the 3600 Zen2 processor.  I know it's a 65W processor but I don't want to buy it if there's some HP specific thing that'll get in the way.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

HP has to update your PC's BIOS to successfully upgrade to a Zen2 processor.

You have to check HP Support to see if a BIOS update exists.

The latest BIOS update (Link) does not mention additional processor support.
