My Realtek network adapter is having the same issue I've seen many others document in ths forum, dropping connections constantly. I've upgraded all the drivers manually and tried all the solutions. Upgrading the network adpater to a more reliable one seems to be my last hope and I'm hoping you can direct me to the appropriate part. Thanks!

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't know what tape is used.
I found this discussion which references stretch tape for an AIO PC.
Tape - ASSY, Adhesive Tape on Rear Cover (L83912-001) - HP Support Community - 7883789
The part number the person references would work for the PC's indicated at the link below;
Click on the + sign to see the list and you can list up to groups of 50.
HP does not sell that part number.
I didn't see it on eBay except for a listing that ended a couple of months ago, so you will probably have to do a general search by the part number to see what you can find.
You can also contact HP's authorized parts suppliers at the link below:

Have you updated the RTL8822CE Wi-Fi adapter to the version HP currently has for that model Wi-Fi adapter?
Realtek RTL8xxx Wireless LAN Drivers
Version 2024.10.230.600
You may want to try that first because removing and reattaching those thin and delicate antenna wires is not easy.
Next, I need to know if your PC has an Intel or AMD processor.

Here would be two cards I recommend you can try since your PC has an Intel processor:
Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # / SPS # M27269-005
Intel BE200 M.2 2230 Wi-Fi 7 + Bluetooth 5.4 non-vPro WW WLAN module HP part # / SPS # N39883-005

great, thx. i will have to try one, because the new driver isnt working any better. before i do that, is there any chance updating the realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller driver? If so, can you send me the best link?

You're very welcome.
Sorry that the latest Realtek Wi-Fi driver didn't make a difference.
You can download the latest Realtek gigabit ethernet driver directly from the Realtek site at the link below:
3rd driver on the list under the Windows driver section.
Realtek PCIe FE / GbE / 2.5GbE / 5G / 10G Family Controller Software

Amazon and eBay should have them.
You need to search by the HP part number on eBay, and when you see something that comes up, make sure the SPS# on the white Intel card label matches the HP part number.
When you search on Amazon, you have to search by the model of the Wifi card.
For example: The Intel AX210:
The first two on eBay have the Intel SPS# on the label that matches the HP part number.
The others don't.
You will find several on Amazon where the SPS # matches the HP part number.
