I am replacing a SATA HDD in an HP Pavilion a6120n a 1TB Toshiba MK2002TSKB. The BIOS sees the Toshiba HDD but when I try to load an operating system (clean install, no backup) I get the feared error "No storage media found". I searched the Windows Install Disc for drivers but none of them will make it show up as unallocated storage that can be formatted. Toshiba does not offer a download of a driver install package. I write asking for assistance or where to find the driver package for the HDD or HP computer otherwise the drive is useless to me. note: I have attempted to load Windows 32 bit 10, 7, XP, 2000, 1998, and 1995. None of them have a driver for the HDD

Valient effort but I am afraid that Old Timer's Disease is settling in here in SC. I finally gave up on that tower and will use one of the 12 laptops I have laying around. I will use the box as a holder for the extra hard drives. This is a home made security system for a Veterans Recreation Park so I reuse everything I can lay my hands on. Many thanks for your assistance Paul, hope I can repay in someway in the future.

Hi:
When I do a search on MK2002TSKB, every hit indicates it is a 2 TB HDD.
That PC may be too old to handle a 2 TB HDD
What is the drive controller set to in the BIOS? IDE, RAID or AHCI?

Thanks, The BIOS is set to RAID and it sees the drive. At least it is listed as a device when I look at the system setup. When I try to load an OS it asks to load a driver but it can not find an appropriate driver on the installation disc.

You're very welcome.
OK, see if this works.
Since the BIOS is set to RAID (the best option unless there is an AHCI drive controller setting), Windows may be looking for the RAID controller storage driver.
I have zipped up those 32 bit drivers and attached them below.
Unzip the file to its folder. Copy the file contents in the folder to a USB flash drive.
With the flash drive and the W7 (if that is your preference) installation media in the PC, boot from the installation media.
When Windows asks for a driver, click on the load driver option shown in that window.
Browse to the flash drive and if you check the box, it should only include the compatible driver.
Hopefully, Windows will now see the drive and install.
