Recommended RAM module

Hi

I have just purchased a Pavilion 24-k1026na All-in-One Touchscreen PC 54C68EA#ABU from the HP UK store. Entering the serial number into HP's site it comes up with 24-K1000i (not sure if thats the same thing).

The PC comes with 8 GB DDR4-2933 MHz RAM (1 x 8 GB) and has 2 SODIMM slots. I'm looking at getting another 8 GB module to make the PC 16 GB. I've had a look on the HP store but can't find any DDR4 8GB. HP also recommended using Crucial RAM when looking through the support pages. I've checked the Crucial UK site but they don't seem have any 8GB RAM with 2933 Mhz. Also I am seeing different Ranks 2Rx8 / 1Rx8/ and so on, so am not sure if this affects compatibility.

If anybody can recommend what RAM to use with this PC I would be grateful. I want to use the existing 8GB and just get another 8GB that would work with it.

Hi, Sam:

You would use this 8 GB DDR4-3200 memory chip from Crucial.

Crucial 8GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT8G4SFRA32A | Crucial UK

It will work fine and automatically bridge to 2933 MHz.
