Hi,
First off, I'm a total noob with computers.
I got this HP Omen desktop for flight simulation, and while I never had an issue with it and it performs the way I expected it would (i7-7700K + GTX 1080Ti) when I bought it, I really never touched any of the compenents that came with it, out of fear of voiding the warranty.
I do keep it squeaky clean and know the basic gist.
Now my question is, I got this computer a while ago already (around December 2017), and while I have not had any issues with the liquid cooling for the GPU, I'm still kind of paranoid of what I, someone with basically zero experience with computer components, would do, if the cooling solution ever ran out (is that a possibility?).
I have no idea what kind of, or which brand of liquid cooling I should get. Just in case.
Could anyone with the same desktop brands, or someone experienced in the matter ELI5 (Explain Like I'm 5) on what I should pay attention to when shopping for this particular component?
Thank you

Also, if it can help, I did a quick check inside to see if anything was written on the cooler actually inside.
"HP Thermal Module Intel Water 95W (928212-001)" is all I could see. Anyone knows what the dimensions are? I would think that would be the most important think to look out for in a new cooler.

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not an HP employee.
You can check for replacement part availability at HP Part Surfer here (link).
HP does not list specific parts at the PC's Product Specifications Support site. Do you have a 92 mm fan/rad or a 120 mm fan/rad? I don't know because HP does not list this spec at the support site for your PC.
HP does use Asetek AIO CPU liquid coolers on some products. I am not aware of HP using GPU liquid cooling systems.
You can check for a possible CPU cooling system replacement part at this site (link).
I can tell you no more.
Regards

Hi DreamSkywards,
You can probably install a retail AIO CPU cooler if the radiator and fan assembly is 120 mm.
Asetek also makes a 120 mm system (link). Check out the Asetek site. Asetek has patents on some AIO cooling system components. The Asetek system, unlike other retail systems, may not include a fan. A Static Pressure (SP) 120 mm fan will work.
Other retail vendors such as Cooler Master, NZXT. and Corsair use Asetek designs in their AIO systems.

Hi wb2001,
Good sleuthing work!
Is the part available for purchase at HP Part Surfer?
Sometimes, when I check certain parts at HP Part Surfer for purchase options (did not check this part), the component is listed as "NA".
Wait, I did check this part. I can't keep up with what I am doing. This part is listed as "NA". The part description at HP Part Surfer is obtuse. The system is an AIO liquiid cooling system.
Very frustrating.
