Hi Guys,
Hope all are safe and sound.
My question would be felt silly for many, but actually I really, am confused. I have been running with this HP Compaq Pro 6300 Base Model Microtower for the last 6 years, pretty good, and serve the purpose even higher than I expected. I thought to give it a treat by pumping up some RAM, while I was digging out the info I got my eyes on the memory section, its says
Memory type DDR3L
Module format UDIMM
Module Manufacturer(ID) SK Hynix (AD00000000000000000000)
Size 4096 MBytes
Max bandwidth PC3-12800 (800 MHz)
So can I remove this DDR3L stick and replace it with 2 X DDR3 memory?
and, can I plug in DDR3 to this HP-339A board? I think this board is compatible with DDR3, isn't it?
Thank you in advance guys,
Stay safe and well!

Hi:
According to the quickspecs, DDR3-1600 (1.5V) memory is supported. See page 7.
What is nice about DDR3L memory is that it can run at either 1.5V or 1.35V.
DDR3 memory can only run at 1.5V, so it won't work right in a PC that is specifically designed to run the memory at 1.35V.
