Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

Where is the bad USB port located; rear I/O or front I/O? The front chassis top USB I/O panel may be able to be replaced.

Rear USB port failure may require replacing the motherboard. I have no idea if HP has either part available for sale at HP Part Surfer. You can check at this (Link).

The service procedure to replace the front chassis top USB I/O panel can be reviewed here (Link). Motherboard replacement can also be reviewed at this site.

Select "Desktops", "Envy", "750 -100 Series".

Now select "Service Procedures".

Select "Top I/O Panel" or "Motherboard". You need Flash to view the videos.
