OMEN 25L Desktop - GT11-0108no
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My CPU fan is making weird noices and has once stopped entirely, forcing a shutdown. It could fail any time.

My computer is out of warranty and I'm wondering if there's any replacement to be found and at what cost.

Thanks in advance.

see if you can get a part number from the fan.

Take a picture and post it.

All I have found is fans in the $75usd range

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=gt11+hp+cpu+fan&_sacat=0

There is no picture because I suspect a far cheaper fan is available

One of the vendors above lists the following HP part number 35381-001

that one on ebay is under $15

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313&_nkw=L35381-001&_sacat=0

another one shows HP part number L98336-001 which looks more like a CPU fan

There's no part number that I can see.

Only the Omen brand in the middle.

I measured the fan and it's somewhere between 90 and 95 mm in diameter.

Your system looks really clean.  You have sockets for extra memory and these is enough open space to easily add a closed liquid cooling system

What RTX board you have?  I have an Nvidia air "pusher" and the noise is really bad at high speed.

I have removed the side panel. Also the computer is placed quite high above the floor, so it doesn't collect dust.

I have the RTX 2060 Super.

When I played World of Warcraft there was no noise, but when I started Warzone there was definately some.

Not gaming anything right now.
