Product: HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Small Form Factor PC

Hi,
My PSU died. The original number seems to be L08417-002, but searching for this also give results for L08417-004. Does L08417-004 also fit or is it a newer/older product?

They are the same, the last one has an updated part number, probably because it is also used by a newer PC model.

Hi:

 

Googling the part number, the L08417-004 appears to be for the 800 G4 SFF.

 

L08417-004 - Search

 

Looking at the parts list for a random 800 G5 SFF at the link below, there are two P/S part numbers listed.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

L28758-001
Power supply unit ENT18 250W SFF EPA92

 

L30417-001
SPS-PSU 250W 92 EFF HV ELITEDESK800G4SFF

 

The second one references the 800 G4, so my assumption would be that an 800 G4 P/S would also fit in an 800 G5.

 

The case designs look to be the same.
