The fan in my 3 year old Pavilion All-in-One has developed a really loud, annoying rattling noise. I've opened it up and cleaned it all but it hasn't helped, so I'm trying to find a replacement fan, which is proving very difficult since it has to be exactly the same model to fit in the case has been moulded to fit this exact fan.
I've checked ebay, the HP part store and googled it to death but can't the fan I need anywhere. Is anyone able to offer any advice on where I could buy the part I need from. Seems ridiculous to have to buy a new computer just because of a noisy fan.
The fan is a laptop type fan and has the following details on it:
FCN Brushless Motor
FNAJ DC12V 1.0A
6033B0080502
REV.A01
DFS240012A80T
Thanks

Hi:
Enter the PC's serial number in the search window at the link below and it should provide you the HP part number for the fan.
The parts list for this model which is sold in the United States that has the same motherboard as yours, lists the fan part number as:
L99784-001 | SPS-FAN,FHD,BigBen |
HP does not sell the fan, but I did a search by the HP part number I found and saw one listing on eBay:
Genuine HP Pavilion 24-K 27-D CPU Thermal Cooling Fan FHD L99784-001 | eBay
It's pretty expensive, but I guess it will cost much less than buying a new PC just for the want of a fan.

Hi,
When I enter my serial number on the part surfer I get a list of components in the computer but the fan isn't listed so I couldn't get my specific part number.
But the fan you've found on eBay does look to have exactly the same shape and screw holes so I think it should fit. Would be nice if it was cheaper but at this point it looks like my best option.
Thank you very much for your help.
