HP Pavilion All-in-One - 27-d0047nf

Hello,

I have an all-in-one with a SSD C-drive of 250GB. My problem is that this drive is all the time at 95%-98% full, although I regularly clean up and I install, whenever possible, apps and programms on D-drive.

My pc is only 4 years old so I don't want to replace it.

So I'm wondering whether I could replace the C-drive with a new SSD drive of 2 TB, so that I am at ease for another couple of years.

I see so many SSD-drives, I have no clue which one would be good for my pc, what types of connection or something like that?

And furthermore, is replacing a SSD-drive in this pc easy to do or are the risks of ruining the pc anyway too big and do I have to ask a technician?

Thanks for any help and advice

@Hehoo

Its specs

           https://compadvance.co.uk/en/item/823144/HP-Pavilion-27-d0047nf?catid=1&brandid=2011

It has

 256 GB PCIe® NVMe ™ M.2 SSD, 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive

You can replace 256GB of NVMe M.2 SSD using compatible drives such as

Thank you!

So if I understand correct from what I see in your links, I have to pay attention that I choose a drive with 'PCIe NVMe' specs in order to fit into the motherboard?

And do you maybe happen to know where I could find instructions on how to open my pc and replace this drive without ruining my pc? I tried to open a 'real' laptop once, thankfully an old one, because I completely broke the backside cover of the laptop and I'm afraid that I will do the same with my pc 😳
