HP Pavilion 595-p0074
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I have an HP Pavillion 595-p0074 that is out of warranty. I have Windows 10 and owned the product for three years. The product number on my BaseBoard is 843B. I have a hardware issue.

Recently, I have noticed that my USB ports on the front side are damaged to the point they ceased functioning (bent pins in one of them). I plan to look for a computer part website such as Newegg.com to manually replace the component. I came here to look for some input as to what I should keep in mind before giving it a go. I do not need tips on how to perform maintenance as I have some prior experience repairing, Has anyone gone through a similar issue (component replacing), and what actions were taken?

Thank you.
