I am thinking about upgrading my HP All in One model 23-b231 from a HDD to an Adata SU650 1TB  30 - NAND SATA 2.5 inch SSD. Is this possible? I am running Windows 10 and upgraded the memory to 16GB.

Replacement of the drive is shown here

Since the old drive is the 3.5 inch type you will need an adapter like this one

Be sure to clone the drive.  I recommend the western digital app which uses acronis tools.  I do not know if it will work on Adata.
