The correct answer is the 3 Volt CR2032. (FYI for HP Desktop PCs: The memory battery (aka motherboard, CMOS, real-time clock (RTC), clock battery) is generally a CR2032 lithium coin cell.) The HP online reference document doesn't tell you this likely because there are exceptions. ...Ron

HOW2 replace the memory for access to the Main Board.
Then ease out the battery and buy an equivalent.
