Greetings,
I'm using Windows 10 pro 64-bit on a GZ614AA-A2L a6345f. It's currently running build 1809 pretty well with 3.5 Gb of RAM. I contacted Microsoft (case# 1476752904) because Windows is unable to download the latest build 1903. Windows update says: "The Windows 10 May 2019 Update is on its way. We're offering this update to compatible devices, but your device isn't quite ready for it. Once your device is ready, you'll see the update available on this page. There's nothing you need to do at this time." Microsoft representative had a look in my PC and ruled out that the BIOS version of this PC (American Megatrends Inc. 5.43, 10/09/2009) was out of date and was not listed among the BIOS allowed to download the 1903 build.
I thus request HP to please update the BIOS for this motherboard model so that I can continue using an up to date version of Windows 10 on this desktop. I opened a case with HP (case# 5 033 769 450) and requested the same. I have been suggested to purchase a new PC.
I really liked my HP experience so far and want to continue having a great one. I strongly hope BIOS driver will be updated.
Best regards,
Mike

The HP a6345f is a circa 2008 machine. HP is not supporting that model past the BIOS 5.43 level. Also, the original OS is linked to the BIOS.

Microsoft has offered me to manually force the 1903 update on this PC after running CPUID-Z and figuring out that this PC is able to handle it. Although there might be instability issues because HP hasn't released the drivers. It seems like Microsoft is giving better support than HP even for a 2008 product.
I can see that HP is not supporting that model; as there are no drivers at all listed on their website for this motherboard.
My request is for HP to take care of their customers and give them satisfaction. Being offered to buy a new PC is the solution that pleases the best HP, not the customer. This PC easily handle win10. Can HP stands by their customers and deliver satisfying after sale service?
Thanks in advance

I do not work for , nor represent HP. Strictly a volunteer.
It seems that you expect a company to supply service and updates past the life cycle of the component.
All products have a warranty, and are supported during their life cycle. It can be several years, but IMHO no one should actually expect support for a product that is 10 years old.

I request BIOS update for a PC which can handle very well the latest OS. No reasons to not produce it especially if the unit can handle the latest OS.
From such a big company as HP, I think they can easily release such driver. What policy do they stand to?
1. We care about happiness of our customers and we built our company thanks to loyal customers.
2. We want customers to purchase new products, investors wants more money; buy or goodbye.
At some point, I would be willing to pay for a BIOS update, rather than buying a new PC. Simply because its what I want. Also, there are environmental concerns related to dumping working PC to buy new updated PCs.
Still hoping for BIOS driver's update to be released.
