Hi everyone, I'm experiencing an issue with my HP EliteBook 1040 G7 (Intel Core i7) where the touchpad is not working properly, and I'm unable to right-click. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, do you have any solutions or troubleshooting tips? I would greatly appreciate your help! Thank you!

Just out of curiosity have you noticed any swell under or around the touch pad? That could indicate a battery problem. You could also try uninstalling the touch pad and then reinstalling the drivers after a system restart, assuming the restart does not help.
