Product: HP Pavilion Mini Desktop - SATA Cable number 794966-001
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The SATA Cable for my HP Pavilion Mini Desktop PC got damaged. I need to get a new one to get the PC working again. The Product number is 794966-001.

Can anyone direct me to where I can get it !!

@Harish15 , welcome to the Community.

 

Since the part is no longer provided by HP, you will have to search for it locally.  I would begin with local computer shops that sell and upgrade HP computers.  Another option would be a website like ebay.  They sell all kinds of computer components.

Thanks for the reply. So, since I don't get the cable anywhere, I have to trash the PC. Any other way out ? How about, the SSD option. Could You tell me which type of SSD is compatible here on my PC. Model HP Pavilion Mini 300-10in.

What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant.

You can check to see if it is still available from the seller.

If you look at the section titled "Cable (Internal) you will find the part # (794966-001) for the cable.  Since HP no longer provides it, you will have to search for it locally.  A good place to start would be with a computer shop that sells HP computers and upgrades them.
