@Mroca,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Thank you for your question about adding a SATA SSD to your HP OmniDesk Desktop AI M03-0155t.

Although this is a desktop tower, HP appears to use a proprietary 4-pin SATA power header on the motherboard (labeled "SATA-PWR0") to provide power to storage devices, rather than routing standard SATA power directly from the power supply or a "standard" motherboard 4- or 6-pin power connector.

Cable Part Not Publicly Listed:

Unfortunately, I found that this SATA0-to-dual SATA power cable does not appear in HP’s public-facing parts lists, including HP PartSurfer for your model. This likely means:

  • The cable is only available internally to HP service technicians, or

  • Can be ordered only via HP support or authorized parts distributors.

What You Can Do:

To obtain the correct SATA power cable, here are your best next steps:

  1. Contact HP Support directly:

    • Provide your full product name and serial number.

    • Describe the need as: "I need the SATA power cable that connects to the 4-pin SATA0 header on the motherboard and provides power to one or two SATA devices."

    • Mention that you want to install a 2.5" SATA SSD.

  2. HP Contact Channels:

Why This Matters:

Because the SATA0 connector is not standard, using a regular PSU SATA cable or trying to improvise can damage the system or device. It’s best to obtain the OEM-specific power harness designed for your motherboard.
