Hello,

I just intalled a M.2 PCIe SSD with 256 G. I unplugged the hard disk and installed windows using a recovery USB drive. Windows is booting super fast now, but I cannot see the old drive when I replugged it in. It doesn't even show up in the Disk Management. I tried to plug in a 2 T drive I had on hand and it doesn't appear either.

Is the PCIe using the lanes that would otherwise go to the SATA drives so that I now have access to zero SATA hard disks?

Thanks for your help.

Etienne

The drives were not accessible using disk management. They were in the boot list when I interrupted boot using esc. After that, I could see them in the disk managment. So the problem is now solved. I can even see both disks at once.
