Hello, I do not know much about computers but I would like to do an upgrade that would consist of connecting 2 HDDs but I do not know if the SATA power cable is connected somewhere in the back because the end of the cable that needs to be plugged into the drive is at the drive slot.

Hi

 

Not following the problem. HP usually provides power supply cabling (having multiple SATA power connectors) capable of providing power to additional SATA drives. You will have power to the SATA drive if you have an available SATA power connector.

 

You may have to provide a SATA data cable connection to the motherboard.

 

Please provide more info or an image.
