Hello,
I would like to know if I can use the cable 710825-001 with my HP 705 G4 SFF. More precisely:
1. Is the 6pin connector on the motherboard electrically compatible?
2. Could I theoretically populate all SATA power outputs with HDDs? I know the motherboard only has 3 SATA ports, but I am wondering whether the motherboard’s 6pin SATA Power connector, to which this cable is attached, can withstand so many devices at once.
Also, is there any HP cable that allows for powering even more SATA devices? Or one that also has a PCIE output on top of at least 3 or 4 SATAs?
Happy new year!
