Product: HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 (2J4V9AV)

I've used this SD Card before on this laptop and it worked fine, but now it doesn't even show up at all. The driver is missing, and it doesn't even show up in Disc Management, and I know it's not the SD card because I plugged it into a different computer, and it worked. I really need help.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to (re)install the W10 or W11 driver as applicable for your notebook's card reader and restart the notebook.

 

W10:  Alcor Micro:

W11...gives you two drivers...Alcor Micro and Realtek:

You download, double click on the file to run it, accept the license agreement, and follow the on-screen instructions. 

 

If the SD card reader still doesn't work, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.
