My SD card reader is not working. They quit after the Windows 10 update. I have tried updating all the drivers, (I am not sure which is which). I have done the hp diagnostic tool section, (software and driver downloads) it says "it is unable to find drivers for my product"
Can anyone please help!?!

@Whitetiger1556 , welcome to the forum.
The card reader is 10 years old. HP no longer provides drivers for the computer. Have you tried to find the card reader in the Device Manager? If it is there, you can right click on it and select Update driver. If not, you may want to consider buying a USB 2.0 card reader. Here is a page of them on Newegg.com: https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100007958+600021094&nm_mc=AFC-RAN-COM&cm_mmc=AFC-RAN-COM&utm_medium=af...
They are very inexpensive and work great. I have been using one for many years with great success. Frankly, I wouldn't order one online. You can buy one at the nearest Walmart for the same price.

I have tried to find the reader in the device manager.... but I have no clue what it would be called. I did update all the drivers listed under disk drives. But they are all listed as USB drives, so I am not sure that is the correct one.

@Whitetiger1556, I believe that it would be in Disk Drives. However, if it doesn't have the correct driver it won't be displayed. As I stated in my previous post, HP doesn't provide drivers for your computer; especially for Win 10. This is why I recommended a USB 2.0 reader.
