SD card reader for Pavilion 23 will not physically accept an SD card

What is your PAVILION 23  machine ? All standard HP multi card readers physically accept full size SD, SDHC and SDXC cards. Is it smaller or larger on your machine ?

SD card reader is correct size. It should not have anything to do with not being formatted?  The VIVITAR adapter also will not take the SD micro adapter.   

 

Never mind, it is not a problem now...
