Product: HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-p019na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The sd card reader was working fine until a few weeks ago when windows 10 updated and now sd cards are not recognised. SD card is fine and works in my laptop but not on the desktop where I do my photo editing. I'm not very technical so a simple solution is best for me.

Sounds like your machine is a bit old. Please try the following driver

 

           https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp84001-84500/sp84047.exe
