I have a CT500MX500SSD! that I want to replace my hard drive with. Crucial says this bracket is what I need to install it with.CTSSDBRKT35. I'm looking at that bracket and I see no way to mount the drive and then mount the bracket the bracket on a flat surface. You take the front face of the computer off to get to the four screws that hold the drive that's in there now.  If you people say this will work in this computer I'll order it and will see what happens.

Thank you, I got it installed with those 3 screws but now how do I get it to be recognized by the computer? This is my second drive, the main drive is a ssd M2.

Hi,

I believ you do not need a bracket as there are holes for a 2.5" Drive in the case

Hope it helps,

Yes I did that and and it is now drive G and I will clone it today and make it Windows 10 (G) and when I get Windows 11 I'll put it on the main drive and remove the G from the second drive. With that done I'll have Windows 11 on the main drive and Windows 10 on the second drive.
