I have an all in one HP Desktop. I recently purchased a 2.5 Solid State Drive to replace the 3.5 hard drive. The existing hard drive is mounted in a cage that slides into place and connects the SATA connections. There doesn’t seem to be a way to mount the 2.5 drive in that cage that will allow it to connect properly. Is there any type of adapter that can be used to mount the 2.5 drive?

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know whether there is an adapter to connect a 2.5-inch SSD on the computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you check with the seller where you purchased the SSD or locally whether there is a caddy or an adapter available to install the SSD. There is no caddy or adapter available from HP to install the 2.5-inch SSD on your computer.
I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
