I'm trying to replace the HD in my computer with a Kingston SSD. I got a mounting bracket for the SSD, but it doesn't seem to be compatible with the HD mount in the computer. Is there a special adapter or bracket that is required for my computer?

The service manual shows on page 14 that the original 3.5 hard drive is mounted using the bottom screws on the drive. What you need is an adpater tray that mounts with bottom screws, but still allows the 2.5 drive to mount.
This tray is listed to solve that issue.
