I have an HP Pavilion 595-p0084 with a 128 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive. I want to upgrade to a higher capacity ssd drive (500 GB or 1 TB). Which drives will be compatible?

I think this is your motherboard and near the top right is a socket for a "smaller" m.2
Specs say only the following
128 GB PCIe NvMe M.2 Solid State Drive
It is either 2230 or 2242 but for sure not 2280
Is it your "C" drive? If so, I can see why you want to upgrade. Measure the card to see if it is 30 or 42mm long then get the capacity you need.
Alternately, you can boot from your hard disk and install PrimoCache to use the existing 128gb as a speed-up cache for all other drives

Hi, @aperez241
You should be able to replace the 128 GB M.2 SSD with a 500 GB or 1 TB NVMe SSD...2280.
HP Desktop PCs - motherboard specifications, Lincs | HP® Customer Support
Expansion Slots
- One PCIe x16 socket
- One PCIe x1 socket
- One M.2 socket 1, 2230 type for WLAN
- One M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD

Thanks, I had the totally wrong motherboard. I find it difficult to look some of them up due to customization of the system model ID plus the eBay vendor might have wrong ID but in this case I was way off.
