Hello,

Someone please help point me towards finding the ' Intel® Rapid Storage' driver for HP x360 - 11-ab101nia.

There's nothing, that i can find,  under driver storage, on the hp driver page for the laptop

https://support.hp.com/ie-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-11-ab100-x360-convertible-pc/21341557/model/2295...

Thanks

Hi:

Did you install a M.2 SSD?

If so, the notebook only supports SATA M.2 SSD's not NVMe.

See chapter 1 of the service manual.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I installed a  2.5 ssd, but the sytem is not detecting any drive, be it SSD or HDD during a clean windows 10 installation ,

You're very welcome.

W10 should not be needing a storage controller driver for that platform.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this works...

Unzip and copy the storage controller drivers to a flash drive and when you get to the part of the installation where Windows can't find a drive, select the Load driver option, browse to the USB flash drive with the drivers on it.

If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.

Click Next, and hopefully W10 will install.

Thanks,

i've just done this multiple times and it threw up a 'no signed device driver were found' error

Sorry that driver didn't work.

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.

Here's an info link for how to use the utility, and the second link is where you can download the recovery tool creation software:

HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Microsoft Store Apps

Since you have to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window when you use it on a different PC, this is the partial number, but I don't know the 3 characters after the # sign, but you can either find that in your notebook's BIOS info screen or on the notebook's case somewhere.

4MU77EA#???

You need to enter the # sign as well as the 3 characters to the right of it.

Thank you for your detailed response again.

I've just downloaded the HP cloud recovery tool from the store and i'll give you a feedback soon.
