ProDesk 400 G1 SSF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I visited userbenchmark.com and ran their tests of my system. Everything scored very well with the exception of my SSD.

It suggested I check that my SSD is plugged into the SATA3 port with a SATA3 cable.

I haven't actually done that yet, but not that familiar with exactly how to know when I am looking at it.

Any other possibilities as to why my SSD would be scoring so low on tests?

Wow. Helpful.

It was also recommended to me that I check the cable is well seated.

I gave the cable a bit of encouragement at  both ends and now the userbenchmark is "performing above expectations".

So perhaps the combined advice has worked.

Hi Steve,

Your PC has the Intel H81 Express chipset. This chipset supports up to two SATA 3 ports.

The dark blue SATA (SATA0) is the port you want to use.

Definitely check to ensure you are using a SATA 3 cable.

Try the free CrystalDiskMark (Link) to check SSD speed. Download the Zip version.
