Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

Before asking, apologies if this has been asked before.

I am not a tech person at all hence why I need learned opinion.

I want to upgrade my SSD drive to either 1 TB or 2 TB ssd depending on the affordability. I don't know which one is compatible amongst so many different choices. Also which one is more long lasting in terms of durability.

Could someone please guide me on 1 TB and 2 TB SSDs  compatible with my system.

My system is hp pavilion 690-0022na i5+8400, 16gb.

Thank you

@emid,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know which SSD is compatible for your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that there is one M.2 socket 3, 2280 type for SSD expansion slot available and you can install any SSD which supports this slot.

Please refer to the below link for the motherboard specifications.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
