Hello, I have a Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fb0002nq, I want to upgrade my 512Gb SSD to a 1Tb new one, but I can't find the compatibility specs of the motherboard 8A3C for the SSD types, would you help me? Thanks in advance!

You're very welcome.

I'm thinking more like 3,500 read, 3,000 write.

The M.2 SSD your PC uses is 2280.

That's the only form factor the Samsung 980 Pro comes in.

Hi:

According to chapter 1 of the service manual, the notebook supports PCIe Gen 3.0 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD's.

A Gen 4.0 SSD will work but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from a Gen 3.0 SSD slot.

Hello,

So a SSD like Samsung 980 PRO Gen.4, 1TB, NVMe with 7000 MB/s read and 5000 MB/s write, will go as far as 2150 MB/s read and 1550 MB/s write, correct me if I am wrong here. Also in Solid-state drive specifications from the guide there are some specs for dimensions, I think those are for the current SSD, are there any maximum dimensions?

Thank you!
