I'm looking for a UPS battery backup for an Omen 30L. On a budget and would like to avoid issues on a desktop, several years old, from power drops. Looking for something that would allow time for a safe power down on power outages.
So looking at items on Amazon and started reading on concerns about modified sine wave vs pure sine wave power. I that an issue with my computer and any recommendations?
HP Omen 30L Desktop GT13-0xxx
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8GHz 12-Core Processor
EVO PLUS 1TB M.2 Solid State Drive
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
500 W Smart AC power adapter
Was looking at a
Amazon Basics Standby UPS 800VA 450W Surge Protector Battery Power Backup - 12 Outlets, Black
or
CyberPower EC650LCD Ecologic Battery Backup & Surge Protector UPS System, 650VA/390W, 8 Outlets, ECO Mode, Compact
Are those too under powered?

Welcome to our HP community forum!
Protecting your electronic equipment against black-outs, brown-outs, 'dirty' power and power spikes is one of the best investments you could make, other than your (gaming) PC.
Honestly, I would consider picking this unit: a CyberPower EC850LCD 850VA/510W, which you can purchase for $109.95 via Amazon: Amazon.com: CyberPower EC850LCD Ecologic Battery Backup & Surge Protector UPS System, 850VA/510W, 12.... This unit is one of the most budget friendly as well as reliable uninterruptable power supplies you can buy at the moment.
Kind Regards,
