Hi @_anj_,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP PC is not turning on, and you're seeing:

  • Caps Lock blinking once
  • Power LED blinking
  • Black screen (no display)

This behaviour typically indicates a hardware failure, most commonly related to the CPU, motherboard, or BIOS corruption.

Steps to Try:

  1. Perform a Hard Reset
    • Turn off the PC and unplug the power cord.
    • If it's a laptop with a removable battery, remove the battery.
    • Press and hold the Power button for 15–20 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power (and battery if applicable), then try turning it on.

  2. Check for Loose RAM or Components
    • If you're comfortable opening the case:
      • Reseat the RAM modules and storage drive.
      • Disconnect and reconnect the CMOS battery (if accessible).
      • Ensure the CPU fan is connected and spinning.

  3. Try a BIOS Recovery (if supported)
    • Press and hold Windows + B, then press and hold the Power button for 2–3 seconds.
    • Release all keys and wait to see if the BIOS recovery screen appears.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
