Screen goes black fans spin fast

Had this issue tonight with my omen desktop. Fans started spinning (guessing you fans?) and screen went black. Had to turn off and manually reboot PC.

Check for Overheating:

• Ensure that your PC has proper ventilation and is not overheating. Clean any dust from the fans and vents.
• Use software like HWMonitor or Core Temp to monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures.

Update Drivers and BIOS:

• Make sure all your drivers, especially the graphics card driver, are up to date.
• Check for any BIOS updates from HP’s support website.

Check Power Supply:

• Ensure that your power supply is adequate for your system’s power needs. If possible, test with a different power supply.

Run Hardware Diagnostics:

• Use HP’s hardware diagnostic tools to check for any hardware issues.
• You can access the diagnostics tool by restarting your PC and pressing the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu opens, then select F2 for System Diagnostics.
