I would like to be able to extend the Desktop of my HP ENVY All-in-One 32" a0012na, and am seeking advice as to the best options for an additional monitor?
I want to be able to play a full screen game on the main monitor and have teamspeak, slack and maybe a live stream open on the additional monitor - Can this be done?
For background, I've already tried using a small 19 inch HP monitor borrowed from the wife's PC (connected via HDMI out) but it didn't work so well; I could play the game fine on the main screen but couldn't move Teamspeak across to the second monitor or even interact with it. The second screen just sat with an empty desktop despite being 'extended'. This is the main reason that has put me off buying a bigger, better monitor so far.
Any ideas from the community?

@Bryan_D , welcome to the Community.
The only reason that I can think of that would not allow you to move the app to the other monitor is the resolution and refresh rate of the second monitor. All thought, I would think that it would move, but not be the correct quality. This is strange to me!
I believe that you will want a monitor with a very thin bezel. This will make the division a bit less noticeable if you want to use it for games or other purposes. Here is a page of the top 10 best HP monitors for 2021. You will have to match the ports that you want to use to connect them. Your AIO has a good selection of ports. The best being a DisplayPort. As long as you have the monitor connected to the "In port" it should work. It would be best to match the resolution and refresh rate. You should make certain to select "Windows Key + P" to Project the screen to the new monitor.
