I need technical support for a Secure Boot firmware problem on my HP OMEN 30L GT13-1000a with an HP 8876 motherboard.
My BIOS is AMI F.24, dated October 8, 2025.
Secure Boot is enabled in BIOS, but the Platform Key shows “Not Enrolled.” Loading HP Factory Default Keys did not fix it.
In Windows:
- BIOS Mode: UEFI
- Partition style: GPT
- Secure Boot State: Off
- Confirm-SecureBootUEFI returns False
- Get-SecureBootUEFI -Name PK returns “Variable is currently undefined”
- TPM 2.0 passes the Call of Duty Secure Attestation Wizard.
I need help resolving the missing Secure Boot Platform Key. Can you confirm whether there is a corrected BIOS or an HP-approved procedure to enroll the factory Secure Boot keys for motherboard 8876 and BIOS F.24?

Greetings @Pxl88
Many folks having a GT1x-1000a PC (8876 MB), running BIOS version F.24, are having a Secure Boot problem.
You have two options:
1. Repeatedly check your PC's download site for a future BIOS update. Or use this HP Site to check for future BIOS updates.
Or you can wait for HPSA to push a future BIOS update. Windows Update might also push a newer BIOS version.
2. Try the Secure Boot workaround solution in this HP Forum Thread.
Option 1 would be the safest approach.
Some folks in this Forum, after trying option 2, are not having a good experience.
