Hi I have a 15-dy5073dx the serial number doesn't work when I'm trying to contact support. I can't get my laptop fixed until I have the serial number fixed so I can go through with the support. How do I go about fixing the serial number issue?

One some laptops it is underneath and part of the plastic (no label) and you need a magnifier to read it.

 

If you activated windows 10 or 11 then the serial number will be shown under "devices" on your Microsoft account

BeemerBiker, Thanks for the reply. We have found the Model Number and the Serial Number, but when we go to the HP Website and put those in we get a message like these numbers do not exist. Is our next step to call HP?  Thanks again! Zeckbilly

It only worked for me if I used Edge but that might be a problem with win11
