@Saravanan0712, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

I’m sorry to hear that it is malfunctioning and causing inconvenience.

Based on your description, it sounds like there might be an issue with the mouse's internal mechanism, which could be covered under the 3-year warranty. Here’s what we recommend:

Steps to Resolve the Issue:

Try a Different USB Port/Computer:

To rule out any software or port-related issues, please try connecting the mouse to a different USB port on your computer or test it on a different device. If the problem persists, it is likely hardware-related.

Check for Driver/Software Updates:

Ensure that your mouse drivers are up to date. You can visit the HP Support Website to download the latest driver for your mouse model.

Test on Another Operating System:

If possible, test the mouse on a different operating system (e.g., if you’re using Windows, try macOS or vice versa). This can help verify whether the issue is software or hardware-related.

If the steps mentioned above do not resolve the issue with your mouse, you will need to visit an HP authorized service center for repair or replacement options.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
