I want to upgrade the SSD, SATA Drive and Internal Memory. I can't find an HP Reseller who's willing to help. So, with a deep breath, I'm going to attempt this myself. I need help with two things:
1. I would like to see a service video for the 34-a051.
2. I need help figuring of the specs for the upgrade items.
I understand the internal RAM is now12GB and can only be upgraded to 16GB with two 8GB cards. So, specifically, what item/part do I search search for? Ditto for the storage devices. The SSD now is about 250GB. I'd like, at least a 1TB SSD, more if I can afford it. Double ditto for the SATA drive. It is currently a 1TB drive I'd like to upgrade to a 2 or 3 TB, depending upon my budget.
Any help is welcome. Especially if you can refer me to a HP reseller who'll do this upgrade. The last one I talked to said he would not attempt because "HP has withdrawn the service manuals for this product."

Thank you for responding.
However, the video service procedure was for 34-a000. My computer is 34-a051. The a0000 has a bezel around the front; the a051 contains no bezel, but a plastic frame for the speakers. You're the expert, but the a051 looks like the tear down has to begin from the back. However, the idea of using foam blocks looks really good. Haven't seen that before. Neither had I though about a non-static wrist band device.
Anybody seen a service procedure video for the a051? That's what it's going to take.
I tried substituting the a051 in the link supplied, but it didn't show me service procs. Only a "feature guide."

My hack of the above: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-curved-34-a051-all-in-one-desktop-pc-series/8499667/mod... This produced a "HP ENVY Curved 34-a051 All-in-One Desktop PC Product Specifications" which did not include service procedures.
Thanks!

For what it's worth, I just found this on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxGyImgP4OI. This get's me about 75% of the way there. The 27" machine apparently does not have a SSD? Can't tell from this video.
I'm going to ask Crucial about compatible parts -- I am now told that a fast SATA drive may remove the need for SSL.
Thanks for replies. I'll update as things happen.
